About Me
I grew up in the seacoast area and left for many years for school and work before returning for good in 1997.
I received my medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago in 1990 and completed a residency in psychiatry at the University of Illinois Hospitals and Clinics. After residency, I moved to New Haven, Connecticut, where I completed a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Yale Child Study Center in 1995.
For two years, I directed an inpatient adolescent unit at Riverview Hospital, Connecticut’s state psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents. In 1997, I moved back to the seacoast and started to work at Ladd Street in private practice. I have been board certified in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Addiction Psychiatry.
